The short version. Say Less has no accounts and no sign-up. Everything you type into the game, including player names, stays on your device. Photos you take in the app are never uploaded to us. We do not sell data and we do not use advertising trackers.

This policy explains how the Say Less mobile app and this website handle your data, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The app saves the following locally, so the game remembers your setup between sessions. This never leaves your phone and we cannot see it:
Deleting the app removes all of it.
The app can take a photo with your front camera so you can share a picture of yourself alongside the card you drew. This is optional and only happens when you tap the camera button. The photo is combined with the card on your device and handed to your phone's own share menu. We never receive, upload or store your photos. The camera permission is used for nothing else.
To understand which packs people enjoy and where the app can be improved, we collect anonymous, aggregated usage events, for example that a game was started, which packs were mixed, and how long a session lasted.
These events contain no name, no email, no device identifier, no advertising ID and no location. They cannot be linked to you or traced across other apps. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The one-time premium unlock is processed entirely by Apple or Google. Payment details go to them, never to us. We only receive the fact that a purchase was completed, so the app can unlock the packs.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your personal data, and to object to processing. Because we do not hold personal data that identifies you, there is usually nothing for us to retrieve or erase. You can still contact us at hello@saylessgame.com at any time, and you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
Say Less is for adults. It references alcohol and contains adult dares. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
